About Lester Diamond

Lester Diamond is an alias of multi-talented electronic artist (CENSORED) who lives in Mexico City, Mexico. He got his start in Los Angeles promoting events and studying music in the mid 90’s. In 2000, he moved to Japan and started releasing music on European techno labels. Not content with following one sound or being limited by one genre of music, (CENSORED) created a vision for the Lester Diamond project as something that defies classification and brings together house, techno, drum ‘n bass, funk, soul, dub and hip-hop.

In 2007, the Lester Diamond release, Savage Planet EP, was released to critical acclaim from Mixmag UK and other media outlets. A multi-faceted artist, Lester also DJs exclusive gigs in Mexico and produces a weekly internet radio podcast.
